The 4th edition of the BIM International Conference (BIC) took place on 13th and 14th October in Lisbon, bringing together international and national professionals from the architecture, engineering and construction sectors to share their experiences and discuss collaborative Building Information Modelling (BIM) best practices.
The use of BIM processes, methodologies, and technologies has been growing in the AEC sector. BIM can be described as a three-dimensional virtual model that contains information about the elements that are accessible and editable throughout the whole life cycle of the project. BIM process includes two fundamental concepts that are inseparable, namely BIM tools methodology and the collaborative workflows to organize, share, transmit and communicate the information generated from the models.
CENOR was represented at this event by Luís Ribeirinho, Miguel Albergaria, Nuno Dias, João Aldeias, and Sofia Henriques.
