DESCRIPTION

Hydroelectric Development comprising 2 gravity concrete weirs, tyrol type water intake structures, diversion channel with 2.640m long, loading chamber, steel high presssure pipe line (Ø1.000mm), with 244m long and by an hydroelectric plant equipped with an horizontal axis’ Francis turbine, which, with a nominal fall of 127,72m and a maximum throughput of 2,90m3/s, will have a nominal load of 3.321MW.
The primary weir (Tinhela’s river) has 14,7m of maximum height above foundation and a crest with 43m. The secondary collection (Chã do Meio) has 2,65m height and a crest with 8m long. The connection between this collection and the by-pass channel is made through a concrete aqueduct with a section of 0,8X0,8m2.
