Tunnel in sedimentary formations composed by a limestone ridge belonging to the middle and upper Jurassic. The tunnel consists of two galleries of about 19m apart, measured between inner guides, with an average extension of approximately 260m and a gronnd cover thickness ranging from 15 to 40m. The cross-section of each gallery, with a width between side walls of 17,5m and a maximum height of 8,5m, ensuring the inclusion of a road cross-section with three traffic lanes in each direction, an outer shoulder, with 4m wide, inner shoulder with 1m wide and two sidewalks which limit the platform. The excavation was carried out according to the NATM method, with the primary lining composed of shotcrete and bolts and shotcrete and lattice girders.
